Making the static, dynamic

When Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations wanted to preview the 200mph XE SV Project 8 performance car to media and customers, they asked Torque to inject some pace into the proceedings…

We created a projection mapping reveal concept that told the story of the car in 90 seconds, turning a static reveal into an exciting and dynamic moment for the audience.

Making this happen were two, high-definition, interactive animation sequences that we scripted and created. These had to hit key narrative points, not only showing the car and its key features, but also putting it in dynamic situations to hint at its performance.

Our full creative development included concept, storyboarding, animatic tests and the final HD animations.

Thank you for all your great work in putting together an excellent presentation!

Detailed production planning

To maximise the experience, we then built a bespoke theatre, inside SVO’s F1-style technical workshop and created presentation and dinner spaces, complete with display vehicles.

Our six weeks of work and attention to every production planning detail extended from invitations, to all technical elements, lighting, construction and even down to dinner place cards.

Dedicated logistics care

Our logistics team then ensured every guest’s experience was perfect, from the moment they clicked ‘RSVP’.

Across four nights, over 120 invited media and customers previewed Project 8, ahead of its public debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed, boosting the pre-launch interest in this very special vehicle.

Fantastic event execution and it was a pleasure as always to work with you!
