An intelligent approach to Budget coverage
We identified the Budget as the first natural opportunity to achieve coverage for Tiger Trailers in a major national news publication. However, aware that journalists are bombarded with hundreds of Budget reactions after the event, we knew that a more intelligent approach was necessary.
Leveraging our close relationships with the national news media, we identified an opportunity for Tiger Trailers to feature in the Daily Telegraph’s annual Budget panel. With the Budget still more than a week away, coverage was secured, spokespeople briefed and photography arranged.
On the day of the Budget, Tiger Trailers’ account team was on hand to provide additional briefing, insight and support to the spokesperson, ahead of the interview.
The day after the Budget, Tiger Trailers achieved its first ever piece of national news coverage. Its Joint Managing Director, Steven Cartwright, featured in the Daily Telegraph Budget panel alongside a number of business heavyweights, including the Chief Executive of Legal & General and Chairman of Knight Frank.
