Chevron Lubricants, which operates under the Texaco Havoline brand in Europe, has announced its support of Team BRIT, a competitive motor racing team consisting of disabled drivers. The 10-strong squad aims to be the first ever all-disabled team to take part in the notorious 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.

The racing team was established to give disabled serving and former military personnel the opportunity to compete in endurance motor racing, and Texaco Havoline will help Team BRIT keep going, with a regular supply of lubricants and engine products.

Team BRIT’s fleet of cars are fitted with world-leading hand control technology to enable its drivers to compete on a level playing field, revolutionising motorsport and making its bid to make history at Le Mans a reality.

Team BRIT will be racing its Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 in the Britcar Championship starting on 30th March 2019, and its BMW 1 Series in the BMW 116 Trophy, starting on the 14th April 2019.
