In what seems like ancient history now, I took on my first ‘real job’ as the Editorial Assistant within Hamerville Media Group’s automotive department. After fully acquainting myself with the automotive industry, and the independent aftermarket in particular, I took on the editorship of Professional Motor Factor magazine. In this role, I was lucky enough to form strong relationships with many motor factor decision-makers and employees, and various other automotive business owners. If I had to pinpoint one aspect of my former role that pulled me towards working in PR, it would have to be the aspect of working alongside and communicating with people.
So, I’ve made the move to PR, and I can’t wait to get started! Having been on the other side of the fence for the past three years, I’ve had plenty of contact with a whole host of PR agencies, and so I can fully appreciate the hard work that goes into getting the job done right.
Here at Torque, I’m so excited to build relationships with people from all over the automotive industry. It’s a pleasure to be here!
