Torque Agency Group takes your privacy seriously. This notice explains how Torque Agency Group collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through LinkedIn Lead Generation Forms.  

Who we are 

We are Torque Agency Group, a PR, social media and communications agency based in the UK. We are the data controller for the information you provide through this form. 

What information we collect 

Through this LinkedIn lead generation form, we collect: 

  • Your name 

  • Your job title and company 

  • Your email address 

  • Your company website 

  • Any additional information you choose to share in optional fields 

LinkedIn may also share your profile information with us in line with their own platform terms. We'd encourage you to review LinkedIn's privacy policy if you'd like more detail on what they share. 

Why we collect it and what we use it for 

1.  To send you your tailored thought leadership topics 

You’ve asked us for three thought leadership topics personalised to you. We’ll use your name, role, and company context to put those together and send them to you via email. 

2.  To follow up about our services 

We may get in touch to tell you more about how Torque Agency Group can support your communications and thought leadership strategy. This might include information about our services, relevant insights, or an invitation to have a conversation with our team. Any follow-up will be relevant, considered, and easy to opt out of. 

3. Quarterly newsletter sign-up 

There is an option to sign up for our quarterly newsletter packed with news and practical insights. If you tick the box to opt in, we’ll add your details to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time. 

What we won't do with your information 

  • We will not sell your data to any third party 

  • We will not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing 

  • We will not contact you about things unrelated to thought leadership, content strategy, or our agency services 

Who we might share your data with 

To deliver your thought leadership topics and manage our communications, we may share your data with: 

  • Our email platform provider (used to send your topics and any follow-up) 

  • Trusted internal team members  

All third-party tools we use are required to handle your data securely and in line with UK data protection law. We do not permit them to use your data for their own purposes. Where any of our third-party service providers are based outside the UK or EEA, or process your data outside the UK or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner, to protect your personal data. 

How long we keep your data 

Where you consent to receive thought leadership topics or communications about our services, we will retain your data for up to 24 months from the date of your consent, or until you withdraw your consent – whichever comes first. For newsletter subscribers, we will retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed. 

If you don't engage with our communications, we'll review and clean our records periodically, typically every 12 months. 

Your rights 

You have the right to: 

  • Access the personal data we hold about you 

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data 

  • Ask us to delete your data 

  • Object to us processing your data 

  • Withdraw your consent at any time  

  • Complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) if you feel we've mishandled your data – ico.org.uk
