If I have an abiding memory growing up, it’s of family weekends spent with journalists, courtesy of British Leyland. As a kid I was lucky enough to attend product launches of iconic truck models or spend Saturdays at Silverstone and Brands Hatch watching Formula One - and loved every minute of it.
So, I suppose it’s no surprise that as a young adult, I made my way back into the automotive sector once again – and I’ve never looked back.
Being a woman in communications has changed enormously since I started out an unspecified number of decades ago, but one of the things I love most about this industry, is that it’s a constantly changing landscape.
Having learnt my craft by working my way up the ranks, I’m really passionate about training, mentoring and encouraging young people to bring their own unique perspective to everything they do.
