Giving garages a head start with Eurorepar Car Service

The Challenge

Eurorepar Car Service was looking for an effective way to introduce new garage recruits to drivers in their local area. The existing method of placing an advert in a local paper wasn’t proving successful, and there was no tangible way of tracking and demonstrating its success.

How Torque Helped

Torque got to work devising an easy-to-use communications toolkit, focused on the needs of the new garages joining the Eurorepar Car Service network. We knew that an effective means of reaching a garage’s local audience directly would be through targeted social media posts. We also recognised that not every consumer is engaged with social content, so we built local print media and traditional PR methods into the toolkit.

We proposed a toolkit that would be delivered in three pivotal phases:

  1. Each garage would receive a selection of drafted social media post templates, to use as and when they wished across their own company accounts.
  2. Each garage would receive a customised press release, written and delivered by Torque to news outlets in their local area.
  3. Each garage would receive a geographically and demographically targeted Facebook advert, posted via the main Eurorepar Car Service account, encouraging drivers to visit the garage.

Torque managed the entire delivery process, liaising directly with the garages to source necessary information and answering any questions they might have about the process.

The results

The newly recruited garages have welcomed the addition of the communications toolkit as a valuable part of Eurorepar Car Service’s offering. We’ve been able to supply the client with accurate metrics from the social media adverts. Each post, on average, reaches more than 55,000 potential customers and generates 128 click-throughs to the garage’s website.
